The Call - New font

I have created a new font for my animation and I hope it keeps more with the UPA style. I want the font to be exciting. Some of the shapes from my film can be seen hanging off and wrapped around the letters.

Since receiving my feedback, I know that I need to replace my bubble writing font with something that keeps with the UPA style. I am looking at particular shows such as 'Gerald Mcboing Boing', 'Mr. Magoo' and 'Yogi Bear' to gain some more inspiration.

Animation Practice - Using Moom

Action: 'Boiling Up'

This is not finished yet but his expression has improved dramatically. With help from Alan we shifted his weight on each frame, moved more body parts and added facial expression.

However, I need to create in between frames to make the movement less mechanical. Moom does have a very large head, so this is something I need to consider next time. I'll make sure that his hand doesn't go through his head.

Adjusting the Back View of The King

Before I start to skin and rig the back view, I need to separate the bobble from the hat. This will let the  bobble have its own movement. In Photoshop I have created a new texture and made the image neater too.

Here is my progress. I struggled with the facial movement but I think the movement is almost there.
